Book Shuffle Tag: The Greatest Showman Tag (Tiggity Tag Friday)

It’s no secret that when The Greatest Showman was roaring in the theatres, I was there every second week to watch it again and again. I absolutely loved it. It’s one of my all time favourite movies EVER! I’ll take you up on any chance you give me to watch that movie!

I did find this book tag here, so please visit the lovely A Thousand Lives, as their answers were incredible! (And some of mine might match! Ahh! Haha, can’t fault them on their exquisite taste!)

How this one works. Grab The Greatest Showman Soundtrack. Chuck that thang on shuffle and let’s get boogieing!

As always, I do like to ignore any rules attached to book tags. No one has tagged me in this, I just want to do it. If you want to do it as well, then I definitely insist that you do so!

ONTO THE TAG!

A MILLION DREAMS – Austyn Johnson, Cameron Seely & Hugh Jackman

A MILLION DREAMS is a song about dreaming big. About chasing your dreams no matter what others say.

Ahhhh, this is a bad start! I can’t think of anything for this one. Maybe I’m not thinking broad enough. Maybe I need to find something that matches on the short span of things. One book that is coming to mind is Jenn Bennett’s, Night Owls (Otherwise known as The Anatomical Shape of a Heart). It has a stellar main character facing the journey of becoming an artist. It’s fun and magical and so, so cute! Ahh! I changed my mind, this is the perfect pick for this song! Must read!!

NEVER ENOUGH – Loren Allred

NEVER ENOUGH is a about
always wanting more and always feeling like there is something missing in your life.

All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven circles around depression and the affects it has on individuals. How it makes them tick, and the choices people make because of it. It’s tragic, and gut-wrenching and oh goodness me.

COME ALIVE – Hugh Jackman, Keala Settle, Daniel Everidge, Zendaya & The Greatest Showman Ensemble.

COME ALIVE is a song about learning to accept yourself, that there’s more that you can achieve if you just chin up and give it a go.

I’m going to pick Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell! Cath is the perfect character for this! Despite being knocked down so many times, so jumped right back onto her feet and continued to march on.

FROM NOW ON – Hugh Jackman & The Greatest Showman Ensemble

FROM NOW ON is a song about learning from your mistakes and being a better person because of that.

I decided to make this song lean more toward characters with fantastic growth through a novel, which means, I had to choose

REWRITE THE STARS – Zac Efron & Zendaya

REWRITE THE STARS is about two people that are in love but can’t be together for some big reason. A whole Romeo and Juliet fiasco.

What did I choose for my favourite song on The Greatest Showman soundtrack? Well I’m glad you asked! The choice wasn’t obvious to me at first. I was trying to find something that fit perfect into this little puzzle. I admit, I had a look what A Thousand lives wrote on theirs, (because they picked the same song) and I think that The Fault in our Stars is an excellent choice. I truly do, but it didn’t hit the spot right. No, the book I chose was Evernight by Claudia Gray. (Goodness, this book feels like a relic! I read it back in 2009. It’s an incredible book, read it! Read it!) Our main character is a vampire, our love interest something vastly different. It’s a good ol’ time!
