You know how I love to participate in tags, especially the ones no one has tagged me in! Per usual, I’ll give credit where it’s due and pretty much ignore the rest of the rules. Let’s dive into the tag!
Creator: I’m not sure? 😦
1: What was the last book you marked as read?
The Archived by V.E Schwab.
2: What are you currently reading?
The Unbound by V.E. Schwab.
3: What was the last book you marked TBR?
Once and Future by Amy Rose Capetta.
4: What book do you plan to read next?
Either This Savage Song or The Darkest Shade of Magic (both by V.E. Schwab). I haven’t decided just yet.
5: Do you use the star rating system?
Yep! Though it isn’t my favourite system. It’s still good.
6: Are you participating in the 2019 reading challenge?
Of course! I love that shizz.
7: Do you have a wishlist?
Nope. I have a notebook full of books I want to buy though… if that’s the same thing.
8: What book do you plan to buy next?
A TON of V.E Schwab books. I’m seeing her in April~!
9: Do you have any quotes? Share a few.
Despite that I post a new quote every week, I’m awful at remembering them. I think the only quote that’s stuck with me is that one about the rubber duck and the eel from Cassandra Clare’s City of Bones.
City of Bones by Cassandra Clare.
“Just because you call an electric eel a rubber duck doesn’t make it a rubber duck, does it? And God help the poor bastard who decides they want to take a bath with the duckie.”
10: Who are your favourite authors?
Really? You want to start that list? WELL OKAY! 🎉
Sarah J Maas | Rainbow Rowell | Cassandra Clare | John Green | V.E Schwab | Karen M. McManus | Mackenzi Lee | Jay Kristoff | Amie Kaufman | Kerri Maniscalco | Marissa Meyer | Richelle Mead | L.J Smith | Lynette Noni | Morgan Matson | Fleur Ferris | Suzanne Collins | Veronica Roth | Becky Albertalli | C.G Drews | Tricia Leveseller | Laurie Forest | Erin Summerill | Kara Thomas | Alexandra Bracken | Stephanie Perkin
… I’ll stop there (but if you want a list on ALL of my favourite authors… just let me know!)
11: Have you joined any groups?
Nope! I used to be part of a writing group once upon a time, but I never used it so I booted myself. You know how it is. I’ll probably try to join a YA group down the track. We’ll see!
