Welcome back to Tiggity Tag Friday, where I do what I want and ignore (most of) the rules!! Today we’re doing a tag created by meltingpotsandothercalamities, the What Cats Do tag! 😀 Because if you know me, then you know my heart is ruled by the furry felines. (Ask me about my cats and I’ll talk to you all day about them, you’re welcome.)
LET’S DO THIS!
PURR- Cats do this when they’re happy or relaxed. What is the book that makes you happiest or relaxed?
Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell. I Just adore that book. It warms my heart so much.
SLEEP- What is a book that put you to sleep/ was just boring?
I hate negativity towards books! 😦 But to answer this question, I’m just going to pick a book that had a scene or two that bored me. (Because I can’t actually fall asleep whilst reading.)
I’m gonna choose Brisingr by Christopher Paolini.
TWITCH WHILE DREAMING- Have you ever dreamt of a book you’ve read?
I have not! I wish! That sounds freaking sick! It’d be like Inkheart in the flesh! Amazing!
SEEMS TO PLAY NICE…UNTIL THE CLAWS ARE OUT- Which book had the biggest plot twist?
I can’t think of any mind-shattering, ‘OH MY GOD’ plot twists at the moment. I’m certai I’ve read some, without a doubt but nothing is coming to mind. Allegiant by Veronica Roth was pretty *boom* mind blowing, if I do say so myself.
CUDDLES- Which book character would you like to give a hug to?
All of the three main characters in I Have Lost My Way by Gayle Forman need hugs. It’s such a good but heart-wrenching book. They’re just so precious to me!
CATNIP- What’s a book that’s made you feel warm and fuzzy?
Night Owls by Jenn Bennett was super cute! ohmigoodness. You should read it, without a doubt. I abosultely loved it!
(It’s also called ‘The Anatomical Shape of a Heart”)
CAT BREEDS- What are your favourite books?
(I’m changing this to what are you favourite genres) In which I’ll answer crime/thriller, mental health and fantasy!
GETTING THE CAT- How did you find your favourite book(s)?
I’ll tell you the tale of how I discovered Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell.
I was perusing Big W on a (probably sunny) afternoon, waiting for my mother to finish shopping when I come across the book section. Having been in a reading slump, I wasn’t looking particularly hard until I stumbled across a book that had ‘John Green’ scribbled by the title. Loving him at the time, I didn’t question the purchase, I just bought it. It wasn’t until I got home that I realised it wasn’t by John Green at all, but rather Rainbow Rowell.
THE VET’S OFFICE- Your least favourite book:
I hate answering these questions. Every tag seems to have the ‘least favourite book’ option.I’m not going to answer it today, one because it wouldn’t be any different to the last few times and two, I had dissing books.
BEING IN PLACES THEY SHOULDN’T- Least favourite cliche:
Love triangle… ugh.
CARDBOARD BOX- Most Underrated Book Series
Foolish Kingdoms by Natalia Jaster or Akarnae by Lynette Noni.
