Let’s Wrap It Up! (November 2018)

We’ve struck the end of a month once more. Now we’re hitting the home stretch! I can’t believe it’s December, but at the same time, I can’t believe it’s ONLY December. 😂

I can’t say my reading was top notch this month, having focused ALL my attention on NaNoWriMo. So it’s going to be news to me too in regards to what I’ve read. I’ll be surprised if there’s more than three books on this list, if I’m going to be honest with you.

Anywho, without further hesitation, the books!

The Gentleman’s Guide to Getting Lucky by Mackenzi Lee

This little novella was incredible! It’s that little pinch more of what I loved about the Gentleman’s Guide. I love Percy and Monty and Felicity. All such incredibly deep and wonderful characters that constantly have me in an abundance of giggles.

Dear John by Nicholas Sparks

Honestly? This one wasn’t my cup of tea. It wasn’t bad to the point that I HAD TO put it down, but rather, I never got completed contained within this story. I know some people love books that they can put down and return to at any time. I’m not one of those people. I love to crave a book, to really want to know what exactly happens next. To think and think on a book. To properly obsess over it. I love to binge them in a sitting.
I actually grew to hate one of the characters, purely because I didn’t like how their character grew. I thought they’d become a little selfish in their own way. Not intentionally or completely so, but enough to bring fire to a little distaste.
